Recently, the Liangxi District Procuratorate of Wuxi City, Jiangsu Province filed a public prosecution. The court sentenced Su, the main culprit of a major cross-border telecommunications network fraud case, to thirteen years and six months in prison and a fine of 1 million yuan for fraud. Up to now, the Liangxi District Procuratorate has filed a public prosecution against 121 cases in the group's series of fraud cases, and 92 cases have been made in 356 people's judgment, recovering stolen goods and saving more than 10 million yuan in losses for the victims.

In April 2018, Su and others rented an office building in a certain overseas area and formed a fraud group to recruit a large number of people from the country by publishing high-paying job advertisements. The group members find domestic goals through dating software, meet netizens in the name of dating, and gain the trust of the other party through fixed-talk chats and providing emotional needs. They then lure the victims into the online gambling platform to recharge and bet, and use the tactics of "making big with big fortunes", recharge and upgrade VIPs to withdraw cash, etc. to induce the victims to continuously increase the recharge amount, and finally defraud money by manipulating gambling wins and losses, cutting off cash withdrawal channels, etc.

On September 12, 2019, the Wuxi Municipal Public Security Bureau received a report from the public that it had been defrauded of more than 150,000 yuan in the Internet. After the public security organs filed a case for investigation, they locked and arrested the suspect Sheng by sorting out bank cards and WeChat accounts, combined with clues such as capital flows and entry and exit records. Based on further analysis and judgment, the public security organs have sorted out several suspects, and a huge fraud group has surfaced. On June 27, 2023, Su, the organizer of the criminal group, was arrested and brought to justice.

Because the fraud dens in this case are located overseas, there are many people involved in the case, the group is closely organized, and the fraud group has been dissolved at the time of the incident, the evidence has been lost, and it is difficult to obtain evidence, the Liangxi District Procuratorate intervened in the case in accordance with the law and established a special case handling team.

In order to ensure that "the case does not miss the crime, and the crime does not miss the crime", the court guided the public security organs to start from the perspectives of capital transfer, travel records, and the overlap of electronic equipment IPs, and sorted out hundreds of upstream and downstream related criminals.

The main culprit Su of the case refused to confess the crime after being arrested. In view of his status and role in the criminal group, the court guided the public security organs to collect evidence from the participants in the case, Su's entry and exit records, and Su's family's understanding of the nature of his work, and built a complete system of evidence for accusation. In addition, in order to ensure the maximum recovery of stolen assets and losses, the Liangxi District Procuratorate also guided the public security organs to accurately identify property ownership, find out the assets of himself and his close relatives, and promptly seized real estate, vehicles, etc. under Su's name based on this.
