During the Qingming Festival holiday, passengers have strong demand for travel through the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge to visit relatives, ancestor worship, outings, and travel. According to statistics from the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge Border Inspection Station, from April 4 to 12:00 on April 6, there were more than 272,000 passengers entering and leaving the Zhuhai Port and more than 57,000 vehicles, an increase of 32.1% and 41.7% year-on-year, setting a record high in the same period in the same period.

The Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge connects directly to the east and west banks of the Pearl River. It takes only 1 to 2 hours to travel from Hong Kong to Jiangmen, Zhongshan, Foshan and other overseas Chinese hometowns. During the Qingming Festival, many Hong Kong and Macao families chose the model of "paying ancestors + visiting relatives + short trips", driving a single license plate car to and from the mainland via the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, promoting the continuous high-level traffic at ports. From April 4 to April 6, the total number of Hong Kong and Macao single-licensed vehicles inspected by the border inspection station of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge reached 41,000, an increase of 50.0% year-on-year.

The Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge has a magnificent scenery and convenient transportation. It is a popular check-in spot for tourism in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, attracting a large number of mainland tourists to travel south to Hong Kong and Macao for outings. According to statistics from the border inspection station of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, during this year's Qingming Festival holiday, the number of mainland tourists entering and leaving the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge with a Hong Kong-Macao tourism visa reached 42,000, an increase of 30.6% over the same period last year.

At the same time, with the release of multiple policy effects such as the expansion of China's "visa-free circle of friends" and the extension of visa-free stay period, it is more convenient for overseas Chinese to return to their hometowns to worship their ancestors. Zhuhai Highway Port is directly connected to Hong Kong International Airport. Under the "Flying through Zhuhai Harbour" customs clearance mode, passengers can take the shuttle bus to Zhuhai Highway Port through the transfer building to go directly to the border inspection entry procedures, further improving customs clearance efficiency. According to statistics from the border inspection station of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, during this year's Qingming Festival holiday, the number of foreign passengers entering and leaving the port reached 3,700, an increase of 27.4% year-on-year.
