Recently, the National Health Commission and the State Administration for Market Regulation jointly issued the No. 1 amendment form of "National Food Safety Standard Sterilized Milk", which clearly stated that sterilized milk can only be produced from raw milk as raw materials, and resilient milk is no longer allowed. Industry experts believe that the revision of this standard will effectively promote the improvement of sterilized milk quality.

The drafting unit of the revision form is the dairy innovation team of the Beijing Institute of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences. The relevant person in charge of the team told reporters that restorative milk, also known as "reducing milk" or "reducing milk", refers to the lotion obtained after mixing dried dairy products with water in proportion. In layman's terms, it is milk restored with milk powder and water.

The person in charge said that sterilized milk is the main product of my country's liquid milk consumption market. This revision limits the raw materials of sterilized milk to raw cattle (sheep) milk, which is in line with the actual development of my country's industrial and agricultural conditions, and can effectively meet the people's demand for high-quality dairy products, and will have a positive impact on industrial development and consumers.

Specifically, sterilized milk products do not allow the use of reconstituted milk, which increases the demand for raw milk by dairy companies, and is conducive to promoting the development of the domestic dairy cattle breeding industry and improving the enthusiasm and income of dairy farmers for production.

For manufacturing enterprises, after the implementation of the new standard, sterilized milk will be directly processed with fresh milk rich in a variety of active nutrients. The quality, quality, taste and flavor of dairy products will be further improved, which is of great significance to promoting the high-quality development of the entire dairy industry chain.

In addition, the packaging of sterilized milk products will only be marked with "pure beef (sheep) milk" or "pure beef (sheep) milk", and no longer label related to reconstituted milk. The label will be clearer, and for consumers, consumption choices will be simpler.
