The reporter learned today (March 15) that the State Administration for Market Regulation will adhere to problem-oriented approach this year, give full play to the role of the "sword" of supervision and random inspection, and deploy the "2025 National Supervision and Random Inspection Plan for Product Quality". The plan clearly states that for key products such as gas utensils and electric bicycles that have hidden dangers of quality and safety, strong public opinion, especially those involving the safety of people's lives and property, the State Administration for Market Regulation will significantly increase the proportion of spot checks and comprehensively increase the intensity of spot checks for online products such as live streaming and selling goods. The problems found in random inspections will be seriously investigated and dealt with in accordance with the law, forming a closed-loop supervision and maintaining the bottom line of product quality and safety.
