This year, the Ministry of Commerce will work with relevant departments to carry out the 2025 "Chinese Food Festival" event, with the theme of "Enjoy Chinese Food and Create a Better Life", and launch more than 120 special catering consumption promotion activities, including "Enjoy wonderful events and find Chinese food", "Food with movies", "Chinese Food Market" and other "+ Food" activities, guiding local governments to create a matrix of catering consumption activities in combination with traditional festivals, peak consumption seasons, movie prime time, large-scale events and cultural and sports activities, and cultivate new hot spots for catering consumption. Promote bank payment and settlement institutions to work with Internet e-commerce platforms to link online and offline, launch more preferential and convenient package services such as "catering + movies" and "catering + event" to release consumption potential, guide local governments to expand sub-track tracks such as creative dishes, solar terms, elderly meals, health meals, parent-child meals and cultural themed catering, and launch a batch of special innovative dishes, special themed banquets and first catering stores to increase the supply of high-quality services.
