CCTV News: According to statistics from Nantong Customs, Jiangsu Province, in the first two months of 2025, a total of 620,000 imported cosmetics products were filed for cross-border e-commerce retail, a year-on-year increase of 51%. The "exclusive beauty channel" is allowing imported cosmetics to arrive in consumers faster.

Walking into this cross-border e-commerce special warehouse in Nantong, vehicles full of small cross-border e-commerce packages came out one after another. Beauty products from more than 30 countries around the world are rushing to women's dressing tables across the country through cross-border e-commerce platforms.

In order to further improve the convenience of cargo collection and distribution, enterprises use the global cargo collection and import and export integrated distribution business model to unify the imported cosmetics imported from abroad to the comprehensive bonded zone, and allocate and re-assemble according to the direction of goods and commercial arrangements, and efficiently integrate materials and logistics from multiple countries.

Shao Changwang, deputy chief of the Special Regional Management Section 1 of Nantong Customs, introduced that the "Beauty Exclusive Channel" specially launched in 2025 has achieved three major upgrades: electronic guarantee increases the inventory volume by 30%, "same package integration" reduces logistics costs by 15%, and return center warehouses shorten the return and exchange timelines by 60%.
