The temperature in the central and eastern regions will drop by 4 to 6℃, and some areas will be 8℃, with a local cooling amplitude of about 10℃.

The warming process in the north will be interrupted by cold air today, and the coldest day of the week will be held in all parts of the week on the 12th. However, the temperature in many places in the south will continue to rise today, with the highest temperature generally reaching above 15℃, and in many places in central and southern Jiangnan and southern China may exceed 20℃. From the 12th to the 13th, the temperature in the south will also drop one after another. For example, the highest temperature in Changsha can reach 18℃ today, and it will drop to only 7℃ on the 12th.

Tomorrow, there will be light to moderate snow or sleet in some areas of northeastern Inner Mongolia, northeastern Heilongjiang, eastern Jilin, eastern Liaoning, the Yili River Valley and southwestern mountainous areas of Xinjiang, northern and eastern Tibet, central and southern Qinghai, southern Gansu, and northern southwestern areas, among which there will be heavy snow in local areas in eastern Tibet. There will be light to moderate rain in some areas of southeastern Tibet, southern Jianghuai, eastern Jianghan, southern Jiangnan, eastern Southwest, most of South China, Taiwan Island, and other areas, among which there will be heavy rain in some areas of southeastern Fujian, eastern Guangdong coastal areas, and Taiwan Island.

The rain and snow in the north do not last long, but after the process in the south, due to the active southern branch trough, the rainy weather in many places will continue. On the Lantern Festival, heavy rain will occur in some areas in Guangdong, Fujian and Taiwan.
