The Central Meteorological Observatory predicts that from February 11 to 12, affected by cold air, there will be northerly winds of level 4 to 6 in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River and its north, with gusts of level 7 to 8. The temperature in the central and eastern regions will drop by 4 to 8℃, and the local cooling amplitude will be about 10℃. The temperature in various places will drop to a lower level than the same period last year.

Before and after the impact of a new cold air, the biggest fluctuations in temperature are the Northwest region and many places along the Yangtze River. In cities, the highest temperature in Xining today rises to around 6℃, but it will quickly drop to 0℃ tomorrow, and continue to fall to around minus 2℃ the day after tomorrow, with a temperature difference of nearly 10℃.

In the south, before the cold air arrives, the temperature will continue to rise to the recent highs tomorrow, and the highest temperature in many places will reach about 20℃, and the heating in South China will continue until the day after tomorrow. However, after the cold air cools down, the temperature in most parts of the south will drop to a low level again.

Like Changsha, the highest temperature will rise to 19℃ tomorrow, but it will drop for another three consecutive days from the day after tomorrow, and the lowest will reach about 8℃.
