In the past two days, a number of new halls across the country have been completed and opened. In Jiangsu, the Suzhou Archaeological Museum, located next to the Yuecheng ruins, uses urban archaeological discoveries over the years as a unit to package the development history of the archaeological discipline into the exhibition hall, highlighting the sense of scene and participation, and exploring the new style of museums that empower the exhibition in archaeology. In Zhejiang, the Yujiashan Archaeological Museum fully reveals the entire process of the rise and development of Liangzhu civilization more than 5,000 years ago. When you enter the museum, you can reunite with thousands of years of rice and jade artifacts. You can stroll outside the museum and experience the beauty of the Liangzhu settlement.

The latest data shows that there are 7,046 registered museums in my country. The creation of world-class museums and the construction of national key special museums continue to advance, and a large number of museums such as the History Exhibition Hall of the Communist Party of China, the National Edition Hall, the Beijing Grand Canal Museum, and the Taosi Museum have been built. The total number of national first, second and third-level museums has increased to 1,660, and the improvement plan for small and medium-sized museums and the pilot implementation of rural museum construction. At present, the free opening rate of museums in my country has reached 91.46%, and universal and equal are increasingly becoming a distinctive feature of museums in the new era.

With the development of science and technology and the cross-border integration of multidisciplinary cultures, the systematic protection, research and display methods of cultural relics in the collection have been introduced and innovative. Hunan Museum has made a breakthrough in achieving a millimeter-level precision reduction of Mawangdui silk fabrics, and for the first time dynamically presents the wearing effect and drape texture of silk clothing. The application of digital technologies such as VR exploration, real-time rendering, naked-eye 3D makes cultural relics "live", break the boundaries of time and space, and bring the audience to immerse themselves in the historical scenes. Cloud exhibition, digital twins, wonderful museum nights... More and more museums are moving exhibitions online, allowing tourists to meet national treasures at their fingertips.

"Museum craze" has become a cultural phenomenon, and "going to the museum" has become a new trend. According to statistics from the State Administration of Cultural Heritage, museums nationwide held 43,000 exhibitions, 511,000 educational activities, and received 1.491 billion visitors, an increase of 15.5% year-on-year.
