CCTV News: In the off-campus practice base of the School of Resources and Environment of China Agricultural University in Shanghe County, Jinan City, Shandong Province, two African girls - Lisa from Ghana and Quinn from Malawi, felt the vitality of China's agricultural modernization in the fields and unlocked Chinese agricultural technology.

At present, it is a critical period for wheat field management. In a wheat field in Shanghe County, Jinan City, Lisa and Quinn are operating two plant protection drones for flight defense operations.

These two African girls are international students from the School of Resources and Environment of China Agricultural University. Today, in addition to learning to control drones, they also need to learn organic planting technology. In this tomato greenhouse, no pesticides are applied throughout the planting process, and only wood vinegar liquid and humic acid water-soluble fertilizer are used to maintain the soil. The tomatoes produced are full and sweet, and the yield is 20% higher than traditional planting.

Quin, a Malawian student from the School of Resources and Environment, China Agricultural University, said: "I believe that if we use wood vinegar liquid in our country when growing tomatoes, the yield will increase significantly. If this technology is widely used, it will help our farmers increase crop yields and increase income."

Before coming to China, Lisa was an agronomy student, and Quinn also worked in agriculture-related work in Malawi. After completing their studies, the two plan to return to their own country and continue to work in agriculture.

In recent years, under the framework of the "Belt and Road" co-construction country and the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation, China-Africa agricultural talent cooperation has become increasingly close. Batches of African students like Lisa and Quinn are bringing advanced technologies back to Africa through their study in China to help local agricultural development.
